Hi everyone i have a cisco 3900 router with a HWIC 4T1/E1 i want to obtain more than one serial interface creating more than one channel group in the controller e1 0/0/0, but when i try to make the next configuration the router show me a error "Insufficient resources to create a channel group"
controller e1 0/0/0
framing no CRC-4
channel group 0 timeslots 1 - 5
channel group 1 timeslots 6 - 10
I've never configured a E1 connection for data, and i dont know how to divide the e1 controller to obtain more than one interface, i need four interfaces the reason is that i had a laboratory scenario with two routers connected for a ethernet trunk link and i was using sub interfaces, but when i change to the e1 connection i cant use dot1q encapsulation.
