Interface Range: Up to 5 comma-separated values

Can anyone tell me where there is a limit of 5 comma-serarated values in the 'interface range' command?

You can specify up to 5 interface ranges

I understand that you can do 5, I am wondering why there is a limit of 5, why can't I do more?
