Hello,

I did a factory reset in my cisco switch 9200L 48 PoE, but after doing that, it seems the switch require to install new OS and there is no copy OS in flash memory. When I try to connect external USB it doesn't respond. What should I do?

Here is the message I get after power on

Bootable URL's in BOOT variable not found or exhausted.
Please check the ROMMON configuration or boot command usage.

Hi,

Download a new version of IOS for your switch, copy it to a USB driver and then try this command:

boot usbflash0:<image.bin>

IF the switch is in ROMMON, it is not possible to copy the BIN fine into the flash.

The only options are to boot the firmware from the USB or to use the command "emergency-install usbflash0:filename.bin" to put the packages back into the switch.
