Hello all,

I am trying to upgrade 2 switches and router.  one of the switches is a 48 port 2960-S and the other switch is a 24 port 2960-S .  They seem to have a different amount memory installed and I was wondering if I should upgrade the memory in order to load the latest IOS.  The switches are in a stack.

cisco WS-C2960S-48FPD-L (PowerPC) processor (revision C0) with 131072K bytes of memory.
cisco WS-C2960-24PC-L (PowerPC405) processor (revision G0) with 65536K bytes of memory

The router is a 2911
Cisco 2911 Cisco CISCO2911/K9 (revision 1.0) with 2506752K/114688K bytes of memory.

Any help on memory or IOS versions is appreciated.  I rate all replies

you don't need to upgrade the latest images for those 2 platforms are 64/32 requirements you have enough on each switch to run that ios , only if it goes over 64 to say 128 then you will have an issue on the WS-C2960-24PC-L platform
