Dear Expert,
We will order IP base IOS [version 12.2(54)] for CAT 4506, 4900M. Does this IOS support IPv4 mulitcast routing or IPv6 mulitcast routing?

Feature navigator said it supports some type of multicast in IP base image. The real question is what type of IGP (routing protocol) are you using on these 4500/4900 series switches? The reason it IP base only supports basic routing, no advanced routing features like EIGRP/OSPF.
