is ws-x4506-gb-t supported with SUP5, ws-x4516 in an 4503E chassis

Hello,

after reading several documents, it is not 100% clear for me,

if the ws-x4506-gb-T linecard is supported with a SUP5 ( ws-x4516 ) with ios 15.x

in a 4503E Chassis . It is listed as a "classic" line card, but some docs

say a sup5-10ge or sup6e is needed .

I Just had a check of some cases and i can see these 2 work together though could not find with 15.2

However i feel it should work.

Hello Madhu,

many thanks for your replies, this is a very good info!  The sup5 we use

is running ios 15.0.2.sg8, not 15.2.  , and now I am confident it will work.

I think i made a typo..i dint specifically mean 15.2 rather i said 15.X. However i think it still work. If i get a chance i will try to check in a lab soon to confirm on the ios you mentioned if these models are available.
