L3 or L2 connectivity between Data Centers

We have a dark fiber between data centers. Do you recommend set it as L3 link or L2 trunk to have stretched VLANs.

Hi,

If you want to extend vlans, the connection should be layer-2. If you have separate vlans per data center, you can use L3.

Hi.
You can use L3 and VXLAN overlay for L2.
Because if You will use classic L2 You can have trouble with suboptimal traffic and many more problem.
Read about VXLAN and distributed gateways.
