Hi!

Do you have LACP configured in your HP switch? I recommend you to change your ports to a non-dynamic mode. Use  channel-group 20 mode on command in your ports and let us know if it cleared the issue!

i.e:

interface TenGigabitEthernet3/4

description ==> rack3_C7000

channel-protocol lacp

channel-group 20 mode on

Hope it helps, best regards!

Hi!

Also be sure to check for interface flappings from one side, are all these fiber ports?

This could be a layer 1 issue with the fibers, and that would explain the sudden failure (Assuming no configuration was made that could have caused this at that point int time).

Let me know how it went, best regards!

Dear Carlos,

yes i have configured LACP on HP switches and this configuration is on from 2 months and only this saturday i had this problem.

our HP specialist says it is a spanning tree problem.

My opinion:
if it is a spanning tree problem, why only after 2 months?

Tomorrow will apply your suggestion

Thanks  a lot

If you have other help i'm here.

Regards

Hi Carlos,

I am experiencing the similar error while trying to establish port channel, from hp switch connecting to mdf & fiber uplink provided through fiber path panel. When tried to connect the 2x fiber pair to Cisco switch fiber patch panel 1 pair goes green, the other no led shows or amber led down. With 1 green & 1 amber sfp ports I tried to configure the lacp. Between Cisco 3650 @Carlos Villagran
