which combination (SW image/emulation tool) would you recommend to test features like service instances, bridge domains, VFI/L2VPN AND etherchannel? Meaning that the AC must be connected through an etherchannel. I saw few posts on the Internet but nobody specified which version of SW they used. I would avoid IOX-XR because this is a study for a possible implementation later on and we won't be able to use IOS-XR. I left CSR1000v out of choice because its ports cannot be put in switchport mode and I cannot do portchannels.
I would like to follow this very simple example from APnic Training and replacing the physical ports with PortChannels.
