Is it a good idea to run Auto QoS on the LAN switches (Cat 4500s/6500s - IOS), even if the call manager cluster is located across the WAN? Does it matter where the CUCM cluster physically resides when considering deployment of Auto QoS? I currently have QoS enabled on the WAN routers. I want to prioritize VoIP/Video traffic and ensure that my local network management, routing protocols, etc..are still accounted for in the event of heavy congestion. Is this the model to use?
