License Reservation process must be completed

We got new 9500's, I have configured them ready to be installed but the log shows. Can anyone tell what is this and does it has to be done on 9300's as well.

%SMART_LIC-4-RESERVE_IN_PROGRESS: None License Reservation process must be completed with the 'license smart reservation install' command.

Hi,

 

like the switch says, you have to activate the smart license. There is the procedure to do so (Enabling Specific License Reservation and Generating a

another possibility could be to use version 16.6.x - there you can use traditional license, installed on the switch
