Loss of license information in ISR gen 2

In the ISR gen 2 routers the activation license is held in a secure area of NVRAM. How secure is this? In particyular is it safe from accidental erasure during such tasks as erasing configs or deleteing other files, for example accidentally entering 'erase NVRAM' or similar?

The licenses are stored into two special license storage areas which are hidden and not accessible to the user. A user can only interface with this area with the license install and license clear commands.

In addition to this any permanent license which is still in use cannot be cleared. You must first disable the license so if a license were to be cleared it would need to be intentional.
