Hi and good day,
I have a difficulty in changing the IP Address of Cisco Switches in Ciscoworks. There is one switch that shows "unreachable" status. When I figured out, the IP Address of this switch is misconfigured. Is anyone know how to change its IP Address? Currently I am dealing with Ciscoworks LMS 2.5. Thank you in advance.

Hi,
If Ciscoworks is unreachable, you can try to telnet or ssh to the device and than change the IP for Ciscoworks and test to make sure it is reachable. If you can't reach the device by telnet or SSH than you need to console to the switch and change the IP that way.

Hi Reza Sharifi, thanks for the feedback. The device is actually running fine when I check its condition physically. But, its IP Address is not exactly like the one in Ciscoworks. I think my senior didnt noticed that he misconfigured the IP Address of that device in Ciscoworks. Am I supposed to delete the device first in the ciscoworks, and then adding the device with the correct IP?
