mgmt interface in cisco 4948 is down

Hi all,

I have a cisco4948 switch whose mgmt interface is connected to another switch. This mgmt interface was working previously but was suddenly down out of the blue.

Below is the config of the mgmt interface in my cisco4948.

Interface fastEthernet1

          ip vrf forwarding mgtVrf

          ip address 10.10.10.10 255.255.255.0

          speed auto

          duplex auto

I tested that the cable connected to this mgmt interface works fine and the port from the other switch that connects to the mgmt interface of the cisco4948 also works fine. Pls advise. TIA!

Hi,

The config look correct. I have never seen an OOB interface go bad, but there is always the first time Have you tried "sh" and "no sh" on the interface?
