Minimum IOS version required?

Can anyone tell me what the minimum IOS version is needed for a Catalyst 4500 with Supervisor V to support the GLBP command set.

The switches need to run the full L3 command set as well.

My switches currently have 12.2(18)EW which doesn't have the functions built in. This caused a slight problem when attempting to build 70 Vlans with GLBP last night...

Release Notes for 12.2S says: 12.2(18)SXD IP Services Feature Set.

But I think this applies only for Catalyst 6500 and 7600 routers. Not avalaible for 4500.

Hi Glies,

I am afriad GLBP is not supported in any of the IOS on 4500 platform yet. 4500 platform does not support GLBP as of now

Sorry to say the document that you are referring to is incorrect. GLBP is not supported on cat4500 right now.
