Mixed 3750 stack ios upgrade

I have a mixed stack -  3750E with ios c3750e-universalk9 and a 3750V2 with ios c3750-ipbasek9.

Whenever I try to archeive download-sw to either switch I get a message :

Error: The image in the archive which would be used to upgrade

Error: system number (1 or 2) does not support that system type.

How can I upgrade these without taking them individually offline?

In the archive download command mention both the images...its like

archive download-sw /allow-feature-upgrade tftp://172.20.249.43/im.tar tftp://172.20.249.43/im2.tar
