monitor a specific port

Dear all,

For the debugging purpose I need to save every communication from and to an ip address 10.10.10.20 connected to a cisco manageable switch. This pc is connected to fa0/10. For better debugging purpose I need the communication to a port no 675 only. How to get and save this communication to a file?

You can go for a network tap .... and capture the traffic as you want.

Hi,

use SPAN to mirror all traffic from to this port where the machine is located then on the machine connected to destination SPAN port use  a capture filter for wireshark to only capture what you need.
