Moving a WS-X4232-L3 routing module from a 4000 to a 4500

I will soon need to move a WS-X4232-L3 from a powered up 4006 to a 4506 (w/Sup2).

Can I do this while both units are powered on? When i install the WS-X4232-L3 into the 4506, will it still have the same config file as before?

Any other caveats?

Oh, and if anyone can point to the download page for images for the WS-X4232-L3, that would be great too...
