Hi,
This question has been answered before but not completely.
I'm looking to learn what cables to buy for stacking MS-225s with the ports in the back. The MA-CBL-40G-1M I read about look like they are too small to fit the ports in the back. The spec sheets reads QSFP+ passive Twinax cable assembly. I'm confused.
Using the MS-225 straight out of the box, what do I need to buy to stack two together, using the ports in the back of the device?
Thanks.

The stack on the MS2245 is via QSFP.

Hello,
you should be able to use MA-CBL-40G-50CM.
if you reference this page Small-Form Factor Pluggable (SFP) and Stacking Accessories - Cisco Meraki Documentation.
you can see what stacking cables will work.

Thanks, all.
So I will need two of these, yes, as described under Physical Switch Stack Configuration Steps here?
Thanks again.

Hi @MisG,
As others have mentioned, that cable should be fine. I just wanted to share the stacking guide, as reference, when you are ready to Stack them. Also, if you are planning on stacking two switches togather, you'll need a minimum of 2 stacking cables. This is to ensure a full daisy-chain configuration.
