Hi All,
I have 2 cisco 3750 with ipservicesk9-mz.122-35.se5 ios working in stacked environment. I have a 8 mbps EoSDH link on this switch connecting the other switch of the same configuration. I am able to ping the end to end devices but when ever I try to take any end user's machine on Remote desktop, the connection becomes very slow. I am using static routing on both the switches and no access-lists are configured. Normally my all the applications are working fine. Even I tried to transfer the data thru FTP but not succeeded means like remote connection, this also becomes very slow.
Please help me out.
Regards,
Anil K.

Hello Anil,
According to your topic subject, do you suspect the MTU to be an issue? You can verify the MTU setting by pinging a switch over the EoSDH link from the local switch with MTU set to 1500 and DF bit (do not fragment) set:
ping X.X.X.X size 1500 df-bit
However, I have seen big performance impacts cause by optical-to-metallic converters inadvertently configured for half-duplex operation. Can you verify that no duplex mismatches (and possibly full duplex) is configured on the connections to the EoSDH service?
Best regards,
Peter

Hi Peter,
Interfaces are configured on Full duplex and there is no mismatch of duplex as well. further I am also be able to ping the IP with DF bit set.
