multicast and igmp on l2 switch

i have a 3750g with 12.25seb2 base ios. igmp is enabled and the switch has igmp querier enabled. i have a mc source and listener on the same switch. doing a packet trace i can see igmp reports and queries but on the switch i don;t get any status when i do "ip igmp groups" or "ip igmp membership". shouldn't i see the groups setup in teh switch?

Hello JSchweng,

if the switch is only L2 switch you may need to focus on igmp snooping show commands.

sh ip igmp snooping groups

sh ip igmp snooping querier

sh ip ip igmp groups is to be used on the L3 multicast router/switch
