PFA the scenario for IPTV , more of a multicast scenario.
The requirement states, for E.g. IPTV streamer A and A's backup both are streaming the same multiple multicast streams (channels) pumping in both the Core-6500s, we would like to have port level redundancy in a way that, once the main streamer goes down, the backup streaming should start, the users (STBs) in POP-petrol or diesel should get transparent streaming.
let me know your thoughts on it, in the meanwhile have done MSDP/Anycast RP for multicast redundancy.
