Dear all,

We are having a setup in which a server is installed with ESXi type 1 hypervisor. The server has been connected to nexus 9K switch port for internet connectivity . We want to create multiple Virtual machines on a server and on each machine we want to provide IP from different subnets ie. one from 192.168.xxx.xxx  or 10.xxx.xxx.xxx is it possible for us to do the same?

Hello

create the l3 subnets and vlans on the core switch of your network and then trunk thr connection towards the server

Generally, as @paul driver already notes, Cisco switches use "trunk" link to connect to servers hosting multiple virtual machines.  I.e. each virtual machine generally has its own subnet/VLAN.

However, if you're switch is L3 capable, in theory, it may support multiple IPs on a non-trunked interface.  Unsure whether your virtual machines platform would support this, but even it does, the first approach would, again, be the general way supporting such an environment.
