N9508 with Multicast

Hi ,

I have two nexus 9508 as vpc and connected to the core-switch 6500 (vss) as port-channel from the 6500 and vpc from the two nexus 9508 and I created SVI  2 in two nexus  (vlan 2 10.19.1.1 , 10.19.1.2) and from the core-switch 10.19.1.3 and I enabled the ip pim sparse mode under the svi from the core-switch and the two nexus , my question the pim neighbor  will be up between the two nexus and the cisco 6500(vss)

Hi,

Nexus OS does not support PIM dense mode.  You can only configure sparse mode. So, you would need sparse mode on the 6500 as well for the peering to be established.
