hi friends,
we have a nexus 2348 and a nexus 56128p, ( 2348 will be our fabric extender )
FCOE is work fine but we want to config ports on 2348 as native FC type,
what we need to do this?
is "Storage Protocols Services Package" license enough for us to do this or not? or we need another thing ?
i heard there is no native FC support on nx-os at cuurent time and cisco wants to release a new nx-os in first half of 2016 to support that,
are this true?

Hi,
It rappers that the 2248UPQ supports it natively, but you would have to talk to your Cisco SE and sales guy about the license.
from the data sheet:
Cisco Nexus 2348UPQ Fabric Extender (FEX) supports native Fiber Channel (FC) ports. You can convert and use the HIF ports as FC ports. You can configure the HIF ports to run 2, 4, 8, or 16 Gigabit fibre channel (FC). HIF ports are unified ports that enable a combination of 1-Gigabit or 10-Gigabit Ethernet and 2-Gigabit, or 4-Gigabit, or 8-Gigabit, or 16-Gigabit FC interfaces.
