Terminal logging on Cisco 6500

I am not getting the status change event log in the Cisco 6500 core switch even though I have enabled terminal monitor in it. 

Please advise what could be the reason?

Could you check the monitor logging level:

show logging
Syslog logging: enabled (11 messages dropped, 0 messages rate-limited,
                0 flushes, 0 overruns, xml disabled, filtering disabled)
    Console logging: level debugging, 6 messages logged, xml disabled,
                     filtering disabled
    Monitor logging: level debugging, 0 messages logged, xml disabled,
                     filtering disabled
    Buffer logging: disabled, xml disabled,

You can adjust it with the 'logging monitor <level>' command (global configuration).
