Hello Asim,
>> When I do enter switch console command, it goes into ROMMON mode
the MSFC is stucked in rommon so it is not able to talk snmp on 127.0.0.x and has been removed from the sh module
see:
The MSFC/MSFC 2 can disappear from the show module command output. This occurs if the device fails to boot properly for one of these reasons:
A Cisco IOS Software image is corrupted.
A bootflash is misseated.
The MSFC or MSFC2 drops to ROMmon for some reason.
try the following recovery procedure:
just a warning the procedure refers to an MSFC/MSFC2.
I will look for one for MSFC3
Hope to help
Giuseppe

Thanks Giuseppe. I have already read that document to recover msfc/msfc2 but I couldn't find any references for msfc3.
Also, I couldn't find the corresponding ROMMON software for IOS ver c6msfc3-adventerprisek9_wan-mz.122-18.SXF12a.
Thanks
Asim
