network-confg via tftp

i have a router set up to download its host config and network config from tftp at boot. it does so successfully, but the network config continues to download periodically every few minutes or so. is this normal?

Having the router continue to periodically download (or I suspect that it is attempting to download but not succeeding) is not normal. From your description I assume that you have configured service config on the router. I suggest that you remove service config and see if that fixes your issue.

If that is not the fix for the issue then perhaps you can provide some details about how you have configured the download of network config and the exact messages that appear on the router when it is trying to download.
