Hi,
is there are any feature that could stop learning MAC addresses in single VLAN where loop occured instead of disabling MAC addresses learning in ALL VLANs OR disable one of the ports to break L2 loop? I am referring to such logs:
%FWM-2-STM_LOOP_DETECT: Loops detected in the network among ports
Eth x/y and Eth x/y vlan xx -
Disabling dynamic learn notifications for 180 seconds
%FWM-2-STM_LEARNING_RE_ENABLE: Re enabling dynamic learning on all interfaces
Is there any OID that could be monitored for "%FWM-2-STM_LOOP_DETECT"? Unfortunately I do not see any snmp trap for such logging.
Or do you have other idea how this message could be monitored?

MAC ACL may be prevent the MAC address and hence NSK can not learn it.
but this flapping MAC meaning the VM or Access SW not config right.

Thanks for idea however it is not possible to foreseen MAC when someone misconfigure VM or connect incorrectly switch.
Do you know how it could be quickly detected since there is no SNMP trap for loop/mac move?
