Hey together,
I've upgraded our NEXUS 5548UP switches from 7.1(1)N1(1) to 7.1(5)N1(1).
The switches booted with new version. Everything is working as expected.
Running config, bootvar etc. is showing that the switch is running the new version.
There's just one thing I don't understand.
If I do "show version", I see system version 7.1(1)N1(1) at the end as following:
...
Hardware
cisco Nexus5548 Chassis ("O2 32X10GE/Modular Universal Platform Supervisor")
Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU with 8253840 kB of memory.
Processor Board ID **
Device name: **
bootflash: 2007040 kB
Kernel uptime is 0 day(s), 1 hour(s), 56 minute(s), 43 second(s)
Last reset at 989068 usecs after Sun Apr 8 08:27:08 2018
Reason: Disruptive upgrade
System version: 7.1(1)N1(1)
Service:
plugin
Core Plugin, Ethernet Plugin
...
Is that just an info which is showing the version before the "reset/upgrade", or what does that means?
Many thanks!
cheers Tim

- That's normal , at that point in your output ; it displays the previous system version.
