nexus 9000 LACP Fast Timers and Stateful Supervisor Switchover

Hi there,

We are implementing Port-Channels between Nexus 9508's using LACP, the port-channels run between 2 datacentres across a WAN using routers with x-connect(or similar protocol) to provide the L2 link. Our issue is that due to the nature of the standard LACP timers we could lose a leg or even both legs of the port-channel (WAN link failure) and have to wait for 30 seconds for the legs to be marked as in-active(links between N9K and routers remain active). We can reduce the timers down to 1 second using LACP fast timers, this approach is not recommended by Cisco as it will have an affect on Supervisor Stateful Switchover (SSO) and ISSU. We cannot use ISSU for upgrades due to the fabric modules that we have in the chassis, my question is what will the impact be for SSO?
