I am getting the following error messages from my C1010 VSM just being installed, but not yet in production:
%KERN-1-SYSTEM_MSG: Dropping received frames from duplicate VSM saddr (0x1010000) -kernel
But the Secondary C1010 is not yet configured as well. I noticed in an earlier discussion that it may be caused by assignment of same domain ID to the VSM and the C1010. Currently the ID of the VSM is set to 1 ( I suppose that's the default).
I want to change the domain ID of the VSM to see if that can fix it but not sure about the impact on its availability as we are running other tests in the development environment. Also, is the command to change the ID of the VSM as follows as this:
vdc <VSM name> id n
And do I need to do the same on the Secondary VSM in the standby C1010 when it comes up?
