Hello Guys,
Where I work my team modifies ACLs and our Command Center deployes them to switches.
If I start a configuration session, can someonelse commit it?
Going thru switch logs I see my conf session was commited by someone from our CC, but I do not see any change in the ACL on running config. Also, my conf session was still listed when I did "show conf session summary"
Switch# show log logfile | i commit
2013 May 23 01:18:27 Switch %TACACS-6-TACACS_ACCOUNTING_MESSAGE: update
: 10.10.69.175@pts/0: username: configure session vl1406 ; commit (SUCCESS)10.10.
69.175@pts/0
Then I committed the session myself and confirmed the ACL was successfully updated. Also, the session I commited was no longer listed when I issued "show conf session summary"
2013 May 23 14:01:14 switch %TACACS-6-TACACS_ACCOUNTING_MESSAGE: update
: 10.10.159.246@pts/0: myusername: configure session Vlan1406 ; commit (SUCCESS)10.
10.159.246@pts/0ï#^O

Again, my question would be:
If I start a configuration session, can someonelse commit it, so that ACLs be really updated? Or only the person that creates a session can successfully commit it?
Thanks in advance!
