NLB Configuration with Etherchannels

Hi,

Recently had tried to implement NLB had checked out the cisco documentation found the below link.

The difference in our case is that we have a port channel instead of a single interface so tried to input the below command.

mac-address-table static xxxx.xxxx.xxxx vlan 200  interface fa2/3 fa2/4  port channel 23 disable-snooping

recieved a command rejected error : interface fa2/3 is already mapped to port channel 23, reconfigure the port channel mac address if required.

Could someone please explain the reason for this error and a work around as well.

You cannot configure a static CAM entry to an interface that is part of a port-channel. Just include the port-channel interface in your command, not the member ports.
