Non Volatile Memory (NVM)

My name is Rob Campbell and I am a Program Engineer working for FlightSafety International in our Visual Systems division. We currently use the SG110 series with our visual systems.

We provide flight simulator visual systems to a multitude of customers and have been asked to provide a detailed list of hardware which may include Non Volatile Memory (NVM) components. I am writing to you today to find out if the SG110 series includes NVM components, here is a quick list of questions:

Does the SG110 series include NVM components?
If so, do any of the NVM components process/store information related to image data?
If so, do have a recommend process/procedure for clearing/sanitizing the NVM components?
If the NVM components do not process/store information related to image/video data, what is their purpose.

Thank you for your time.

Hi Rob,

Looking at the datasheet for the SG110 switch, it appears that this switch is an unmanged switch, which means there is no configuration or NVRAM involved. The switch only comes with flash and memory and don't see anywhere anything about NVRAM.
