Hello Biju,
you need to collect information from the WAN routers at the time of connectivity problems
Can WAN1 reach WAN2 and WAN3 all the time or the connectivity has troubles also from router to router?
What is the state of WAN1 router serial interface to VSAT modem when there is the problem?
if you can post this it can be of help
>> .we will do it by restarting the CSU/Modem
Do you see any alarms on VSAT modem when there are connectivity problems?
you could take another show after having reset the CSU/Modem
These are information that you should collect in order to further investigate this issue.
To be noted that if a routing protocol is deployed over the VSAT you could see if the link is stable over time
Hope to help

Hi
thank you for the reply
I will clarify the problem
we had chat with the isp . as per them when we conect the router lan cable to one of the laptop and cheked .then it was working fine at the time of conectivity issue so they are concluded that their side no issue but in lan having some problem " the are telling its bcoz of DOS attack"
so what might be real issue . if it is DOS attack how to recoganise and block

Hi,
Unfortunately, there are no effective ways to prevent being the victim of a DoS or DDoS attack, but there are steps you can take to reduce the likelihood that an attacker will use your computer to attack other computers:
Install and maintain anti-virus software (see Understanding Anti-Virus Software for more information).
Install a firewall, and configure it to restrict traffic coming into and leaving your computer (see Understanding Firewalls for more information).
Follow good security practices for distributing your email address (see Reducing Spam for more information). Applying email filters may help you manage unwanted traffic.
First of all you should know is the attack is happening, Genrally said not all disruptions to service are the result of a denial-of-service attack. There may be technical problems with a particular network or system also but following are the symptoms
unusually slow network performance (opening files or accessing websites)
unavailability of a particular website
inability to access any website
dramatic increase in the amount of spam you receive in your account
Hope to Help !!
