Hi there, I'm working my way through some cisco labs and was wondering if anybody could point me in the direction of documentation on VLAN automation within packet tracer? I've been trying to google for sources of information but the only thing I keep turning up is using desktop applications for switches and routers and nothing for this task in packet tracer.
I've included below specifically what this lab has asked for if it helps anybody to answer my poorly worded question!
Also included the packet tracer file which I have to implement these changes also if it helps.
Thanks in advance for any help!
"It can become challenging to manage VLANs and trunks in a network, as the number of switches increases. Your new network topology should be configured so that it complies with the following requirements:
1. Allows a network administrator to automate the management of VLANs across multiple switches. You are free to add additional switches and devices to demonstrate this.
2. Network devices are configured to automatically negotiate trunk links between connected switches.
3. Any additional configurations that you think would improve the topology.
4. All network requirements from Task 1 remain intact."

Hello @pjw17279 ,
>> Allows a network administrator to automate the management of VLANs across multiple switches
it may mean use VTP protocol conifgure one switch as VTP server and so on. VTP allows propagation of VLANs created on one switch to all other switches in the same VTP domain so this is a form of automation,
Hope to help

Thanks a bunch, I wasn't sure what protocol to use but VTP is exactly what I need! Appreciate it.
