OSPF and BFD

Hi,

If I enable BFD for an OSPF instance will it have any effect on neighbor relationships, will they be dropped or reset seeing that the BFD has not been configured on the other end yet?

Hi No it will  not drop the neighbour just from configuring one side it actually wont do anything until you configure both sides and the BFD forms itself

As Mark stated the neighour adjacency will not be affected when you enable BFD, in fact it wont be affected even when you apply it on boths ends of the adjacency
