hi,
assume for some reason the LSDB was not synced with all OSPF routers in the area. How can we verify it? Is there a revision number like?

Hi Mohammed,
Show ip ospf database command can deliver you information about different OSPF link state advertisement and also help to examine the link-state database (LSD) and its contents.
Sequence filed in the output depicts that Link-state swq. number is old or duplicate LSA.
Hope it Helps..

Just add to Ganesh,
Adjacancy will not be established unless OSPF databses are synced.
"sh ip ospf database database-summary" command gives the number of routers and networks in OSPF database.
"sh ip ospf database network" (as Ganesh mentioned) shows the seq number of each LSA.
