OSPF on 3750-x IP Base

I'm seeing conflicting info about OSPF support on 3750-x IP Base. Licensing page says you need IP Services http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/switches/ps5718/ps6406/white_paper_c11-579326_ps10745_Products_White_Paper.html

Feature navigator says its available on IP Base starting from 12.2(53)SE2.

Other documentation says with IPBase you get OSPF for "routed access", what does that mean, only available on routed ports, not SVIs?

I have an older 3750G stack running IPBase 12.2.(55)SE4 and have OSPF running fine on it. Is OSPF licensed differently between 3750G and 3750-X?

Can anyone clarify this?

Thanks,

Tarek

That's correct.  IP Base will support OSPFv1.  Honestly now, who the heck still uses OSPFv1????

That's correct.  IP Services will support OSPFv1, OSPFv2 and IPv6's OSPFv3.
