Output drops on port channel issue

Hi All

 

I have a 3650 and a 3750 linked together via a port channel and I am getting output drops on the 3650 side of the port channel. I ahve placed some info below, let me know if you need any more data to help me troubleshoot why I am getting Tx errors on the one switch.

Upgrade the IOS to something more recent first.

the reliablity should be 255/255, if it is not, it could indicate a physical problem. Which of the two interfaces in the 3560 port channel are showing errors as well ? Try and use another port and/or cable for the port channel on the 3560, in order to find out if the problem is with one of the ports on the 3560...

Thanks for the heads up, I will check to see if its a physical issue, let me know if the below troubleshooting process is a good one

 

  1. First swap the cables for known working cables and check to see if the issue has gone
  2. if the above does not work, then try different switch ports in the same configuration.
  3. if the above does not work, then relook at the configuration with a closer inspection and as a last case effort upgrade the code on the switches.
