IMPORTANT: Firmware-version specific.
I have an easier solution:
- Enable web access to the switch.
- Enter the IP address of the switch into any web browser
- Go to Troubleshooting > Packet Capture
To export the file(s), do the following:
- Enable web access to the switch.
- Enter the IP address of the switch into any web browser
- Go to Administration > Management > File Manager
- Click Flash
- Highlight the file to download, right-mouse click and choose Download
- And the rest is history.
