Packet Lose problem

Hello, 

I have Cisco router which is connected to Firewall to access internet . 

And, Router is connected with switch and switch is connected with nodes and a wifi.

 

Lan and wifi are in different network.  

 

Router and firewall is connected directly with cat 6 cable and configured with point to point IP i.e. 192.168.250.0/30

On Router:- static route:- 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 192.168.250.2 (firewall interface).

 

We have max 30 devices which connects with wifi. And, we have cisco small buisness wifi.

 

The issue I am facing is packet lose when we ping to Google.com or any other websites from wifi network it breaks but if we ping gateway and lan network it does not  break. I also checked directly from router terminal it continue pings no any issue. 

 

can u please tell what could be the issue and any tool which i can try to find the exact issue?

If this issue is only on the wi-fi network then check the APs and the controllers to see if there are any errors. Also, make sure the ports connecting the APs don't show any errors.

Am I correct in understanding that any ping from any wifi to any Internet destination fails but ping from wifi to the LAN is successful? If that is the case then it suggests that the problem may be in translating addresses for wifi. Can you check on that address translation?

hello Rick. thanks for the reply. sorry i did not mentioned up that Wifi i am using as a access point which is connected to switch and switch is connected with router the IP network 192.168.100.0/24. i am able to reach till the gateway perfectly, and you are right wifi to lan is fine, but wifi to internet having the issue.

Thank you for confirming that you can reach the gateway and that access to LAN is no problem and problem is wifi access to Internet. I suggested that this sounds like there is an issue with address translation for wifi traffic. Can you check on whether address translation for wifi is configured and is working?
