pattern packet loss

When i ping to its on LAN interface ip address i am getting this pattern packet loss.

Need to know what could be the reasons and where can i get the documents for further information

There is not any policy applied on the interface.

Can you please paste the interface stats, logs and let us know if this is the only interface that is facing the problem ?

Does it drop packets with size 1000 or it does not matter ?

Hi Parvesh,

It drops to all interfaces.

If we increse the packet size then it drops more frequently with the same pattern i.e when packets reaches near to 6000 bytes it is getting dropped.

There is not any policy or rate limiters configured.

I am not understanding what else I should look apart from policy/shaping as no policer applied.

What is the CPU and Memory usage ???

Can we try to unload some of cables to check if it decreases some traffic ?

Is there any traffic storm on the interface side ? ... may or may not be the cause .. but just a suspect...!!

Are these phones that you're pinging? They drop packets in order to protect themselves from DoS attacks if that's the case and it's a normal response. I know Avaya phones do this.
