PoE Class 6 Cisco 9300L - Lancom AccessPoint

Hello community, I have a Cisco switch C9300L-48UXG-4X and access points from the manufacturer Lancom model LX-6500 https://www.lancom-systems.de/produkte/wireless-lan/indoor-access-points/lancom-lx- 6500

These products require IEEE 802.3bt (PoE++, 4PPoE) and 2.5Gbit/s uplink. According to my information, the Cisco switch meets these requirements on ports 37-48. Unfortunately, the switch does not recognize the device correctly. PoE Class 6 should be recognized, but Class 4 is displayed and the access point reports insufficient power. Interestingly, despite PoE Class 4, it shows that 60 watts are being supplied.

My port configuration looks like this:
interface TenGigabitEthernet1/0/39
switch port trunk native vlan 50
switch port trunk allowed vlan 50-53
switch port mode trunk
switchport nonegotiate

I also tested the following commands, but couldn't find any improvement:
power inline port 2x mode
and
power inline four-pair forced

When I activate the "power inline four-pair forced" command, the following message appears when the AP starts:

The port with 2500Mbit/s is also displayed during the boot process of the AP. However, as soon as the AP has started up, only 1000Mbit/s is available.
I use category 6a cable and only one access point is connected to the switch so far.

Does anyone know of such a problem and has a solution?

Use LLDP.

LLDP is already active. i used the command "LLDP run". Or do i need to configure special LLDP Settings to the port?

Do you have any 9300 that is not mGIG?

No, unfortunately not. all other switches are 9200L without mGig and 30Watt PoE

Only the following UPOE switches are IEEE 802.3bt-complaint Type 3 devices:

  • C9300-24U

  • C9300-48U

  • C9300-24UX

  • C9300-48UXM

  • C9300-48UN

According to Cisco Catalyst 9300 Series Switches Data Sheet - Cisco also my used Model of Switch is UPOE capable:

So your SW is support since it have letter U in model name

What is cable cat you use 

Min is cat5

as explained in my first post with the problem description i use 1,5m Cat. 6A S/FTP Cable to test the setup. When it finaly works i will use 1,5m Cat. 6A Patchcable from Switch to Patchpanel - internal Cables trough the building is Cat. 7 and from Port to AP i will use 0.5m Cat 6A Patchcable.

At Boot-up of AP, the Switch is showing:

maybe there is somthing wrong in the Firmware from Lancom? PoE Class 4 remains, but Watt changes to 60.

I have a stupid suspicion the AP requires 10 Mbps. 

I have seen many wired 1 Gbps-capable clients that require 10 Mbps.  And if we plug those wired clients into an mGIG switch, they just go "nuts", like not able to get an IP address.  

This is why, in our deployment, every stack MUST support 10 Mbps. 

What firmware is the stack running on?
