Hi everyone,
I'm new to this forum.
I've got a question regarding port status.
I want to know what the most effective way to see how long a port hasn't been in use?
I'm using web based "CiscoWorks"
Thanks!

I'm not to familiar w/CW, but if it can query a specific OID, then try this one.
iso.org.dod.internet.mgmt.mib-2.interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifLastChange.[interface number, ie 27]

Hi HTH,
Thanks for the reply but how do I do that exactly?

I'm not sure in CW, but with other SNMP Managers you enter the OID, community string and query the machine.

Hi, thanks for the replies I managed to find a way to see what ports weren't in use for a long time!
Thanks again :)
