PortChannel is going down and again UP many times

Hallo everyone,

we have in our network as Distribution Switch 4500x and some Catalyst as Access Layer.

one WS-C3560X-48T-L is connected with the 4500x by the Gi1/1.

unfortunately we received all the time the messages below.

is possible anyone to help for the troubleshooting?

the interface/portchannel is going from up state to down and again to up so fast, thats why the users dont issue a big problem.

although it seems to be a problem and we would like to solve it.

Hello

Have you check the physcal cabling  on these switches pertaing to this PC especailly TenGigabitEthernet1/1/12

Try reseating/Changing the cable(s), swapping out the module ( if applicable)

the switch is connected with the Distribution Switch.
unfortunately I have changed all the cables which are contecting the switches.
also i have changed and test with new / other SFPs and still the interfaces going DOWN and again UP many times.

Have you tried using other infrastructure ports, or are these units close enough that they only have patch cords between them?  Sure the right cable is being used (i.e. consistently single or multimode along the whole path)?

Are the logs on the other end of the link similar (i.e. no real reason shown why the physical link is flapping) ?

from the other end i receive the error i post below, and is correct. because the connection is interrupted, the portchannel and the interface goes down.

for those who wonter why the whole portchannel/etherchannel goes down, is because for that switch and portchannel we have only one physical interface.

Hello have you tried removing the pc

defaulting the physical interfaces

and recreating the port channel again from Stratch

We still don't see the whole picture.

Are the two switches side by side?

Are all GBIC/SFP the same type (i.e. LX, LH, SX)

Are you sure the fiber is the right type (i.e. single mode if it matches the LX/LH)?

If the switches AREN'T side by side, is there any fiber patch panels in the middle, and are they all the correct kind?

Sometimes on short distances, you can "get away with" the wrong kind of fiber, but it isn't reliable.  It looks like it works sometimes...

as you asked (correct) there is a patch panel between the 2 switches.
for both of the sides we have "10/100/1000BaseTX SFP" and we dont have any fiber glass.

now i change the UpLink from the access switch, and now i use one of the Interface from the first 48 ports.

before i used the FRULink Module, maybe is defect.

I will wait until / if the issue will come again.
