Ports going up and down (Normal?)

Hi i am just wondering, we hava a couple of 2960 switches and we are logging to a syslog server.

Ports keep going up and down is it normal severity (error)   ?

It's normal to see these in your log at times. In your situation though, I'd check to see what is connected to these ports because of the amount of times that it happens in the timeframe that the logs show. These all happen within a minute, so that part isn't normal.

We have a bunch of desktop computers that is conenctd to these ports..and i checked the interfaces there are no output/input errors nothing that is wrong really.. But the ports that is going up and down is really fishy.. It keeps happing on different switches different ports..

Maybe it has something to do with INTEL VPRO configured are something
