Hi,
as i know, "Priority queueing" is not support for subinterface.
In Metro Ethernet (WAN link)which are using subinterface connection, a priority queueing is applied into main interface. Is there anything wrong?
Thanks!

Hi
You can configure priority queue in a Ethernet sub-interface .
Configure a child class(policy map) with a priority for any real time application
and configure a parent class(policy map ) and police the traffic given for a customer and call the child class(child policy map ) in the parent policy map.
I have just given a broad idea , pls let me know if you require any help

Hi Samuel,
Eventhough all your traffic goes via the physical main interface , Ip lookup and all the processing happens on the individual sub-interfaces and packets are given equal priority for each and every sub-interface rather than the main interface doing that.
So applying a priority queue in the main interface would not help you out.
Hope it helps
