Dear Members,
There is no any private-vlan option in fastEthernet only but there is in vlan interface option of private-vlan
CISCO-3550(config)#vl
CISCO-3550(config)#vlan 34
CISCO-3550(config-vlan)#pri
CISCO-3550(config-vlan)#private-vlan ?
association Configure association between private VLANs
community Configure the VLAN as a community private VLAN
isolated Configure the VLAN as an isolated private VLAN

twoway-community Configure the VLAN as a two way community private VLAN
CISCO-3550(config-vlan)#private-vlan
CISCO-3550(config)#int fastEthernet 0/24
CISCO-3550(config-if)#sw
CISCO-3550(config-if)#switchport pri
CISCO-3550(config-if)#switchport ?
access Set access mode characteristics of the interface
block Disable forwarding of unknown uni/multi cast addresses
broadcast Set broadcast suppression level on this interface
host Set port host
mode Set trunking mode of the interface
multicast Set multicast suppression level on this interface
nonegotiate Device will not engage in negotiation protocol on this
interface
port-security Security related command
priority Set appliance 802.1p priority
protected Configure an interface to be a protected port

Here is not any private-vlan option in Fast Ethernet to define primary vlan with secondery vlan on interface.

Hi,
Private vlans are unsupported on 3550 platform. This is documented at the following link:

The options available under vlan are for defining private vlan association/type and make sense only if a port can be configured in a private vlan, and as evident, the ports cannot be configured under pvlan on this platform.

Hello,
Private vlan is not supported on 3550.
In the Index, we can see that private VLANs are not shown here and the
alternative option is to use protected ports. The link to that is shown
below as well:
note- protected ports are not a complete alternative to pvlan.
Even though the command is present under the vlan it is just sitting there and doing nothing.
